How this Policy applies

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) applies to your use of KUMIO’s applications, websites, integrations, and related services (the “Service”). It is part of the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in those Terms.

You are responsible for your activity, Your Content, and the people you authorize to access your account. You must follow this Policy and all applicable laws whenever you use KUMIO.

Use KUMIO responsibly

KUMIO is designed to help you capture and recall personal information. Only upload, record, import, or process content when you have the legal right and any consent required to do so. Respect another person’s privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, and right to control how their information is used.

Prohibited conduct

You may not use, help others use, or attempt to use KUMIO to:

Content and privacy requirements

You must have sufficient rights to submit Your Content. Do not upload highly sensitive information about another person unless it is lawful, necessary for your own legitimate use, and appropriately protected. Do not use KUMIO to build secret records about people, conduct unauthorized workplace or domestic surveillance, or make eligibility decisions in employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, healthcare, or another high-impact area.

KUMIO may allow voice, photo, file, calendar, contact, or other imports. Permission to connect a source does not automatically give you the right to process every item in it. You are responsible for choosing appropriate content and honoring third-party terms and permissions.

No emergency or high-risk reliance

Do not use KUMIO as an emergency service or as the sole source of truth for medical treatment, medication, legal deadlines, financial transactions, physical safety, or other situations where an error, delay, or missed reminder could cause serious harm. KUMIO’s AI-assisted results may be incomplete or incorrect. Use qualified professionals and purpose-built systems when the stakes require them.

Automated and excessive use

Do not use bots, scripts, crawlers, or other automated means to access the Service unless KUMIO has expressly authorized the integration in writing. Do not create accounts in bulk, rotate accounts to evade limits, manipulate trials, or use abnormal request volumes that impair the Service or create unreasonable costs.

We may apply technical limits that are reasonable for protecting reliability, security, and fair access. Attempts to evade those limits are a violation even if they do not immediately disrupt the Service.

Investigation and enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including warning you, limiting a feature, removing or restricting content, suspending or terminating access, preserving relevant records, or reporting activity when required by law. We may act without advance notice when necessary to prevent imminent harm, protect an account, preserve the Service, or comply with a legal obligation.

When deciding how to respond, we may consider the context, severity, scale, intent, recurrence, and actual or potential harm. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a way to appeal. We may update this Policy to address new risks, legal requirements, or product capabilities.

Report a concern

Report suspected abuse, a security issue, or an intellectual-property concern with enough detail for us to evaluate it:
